Prior to establishing hendersonherd, Steven was the UK Board member of BNP Paribas Real Estate responsible for both the Scottish operation and all transactional business throughout the UK.

During 20 years with Weatherall Green and Smith, Steven jointly developed a London based insolvency department and was appointed head of the Scottish business in 1996.

Throughout his career, transacting property has been the focus. It remains his view that in the right hands, property is a simple asset class, it is the people and circumstance that present the challenge, the opportunity and the entertainment.

Steven is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
