A co-founder of hendersonherd in 2008, David started his career with Weatherall Green and Smith in London in 1992.  He transferred to the firm’s Edinburgh office in 1998, becoming Director responsible for Investment in Scotland.

Analytical, articulate and numerate are words that David often applies to his clients.  However, they guide his approach to property advice, much of which requires innovative solutions to funding property investment and development.  He is an expert in the field of commercial ground lease investment and other long-income investment structures.

David is a graduate of Cambridge University and holds an MBA from the University of Edinburgh.  He is a qualified Chartered Surveyor and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
